Yesterday Deepika padukone Spotted at the Padmavati 3D trailer launch. The launch was held at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai. The actress pairs this black attire with contrasting white crisp poplin churidaar. She kept her makup minimal with nude lips and well highlighted eyes, that just added to her beauty. Its trailer alone garnered over 15 million views within 24 hours making it the first Hindi film to have achieved such a feat. she is the main and the most important character in the film. In the film she will be seen playing the titular role, along with the two male leads, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor who will be essaying the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Alauddin Khilji respectively.
Speaking about the pay difference to the media at the 3D trailer launch today, she said, "Talking about my remuneration isn t exciting. But I am proud and confident about the money I get. But what makes me happy is that they have invested so much money in a film which has a poster featuring me on it. That makes me proud. This is the beginning of great things woman have in films." In an industry, which is ruled by the men and where women have always been paid less than their male co-stars, this is definitely a first.
